The average turnout in elections to the single voting day on 8 September was 41.2 percent higher than in 2018 and 3.5 per cent, said the head of the CEC of Russia Ella Pamfilova. It is quoted by TASS on Monday, September 9.
According to her, in eight polling stations in four regions will be fully cancelled results of voting “in connection with violations of the reliability of determining the will of the voters”.
As a whole, a single day of voting went smoothly, said Pamfilova. Only in the Russian interior Ministry received more than 3.5 thousand reports of violations, instituted 11 criminal cases, said the CEC head.
Earlier on Monday in Moscow election Committee announced that turnout in the capital’s Parliament amounted to 21.77 percent of violations were recorded. 20 of the 45 seats in the Moscow city Duma of the seventh convocation will take opposition.
