Russia and Ukraine have established working groups for the exchange of prisoners between the two countries. The details of this fact, told Verkhovna Rada Commissioner on human rights Lyudmila Denisova in an interview owned by Grigory Berezkin publication RBC.
According to Denisova, a Russian group headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, a Ukrainian presidential aide Andrey Ermak. According to her, they mainly discussed the exchange settings.
The Ombudsman also added that the head of the political Council of the party “Opposition platform For life” Viktor Medvedchuk was not included in the working group and involvement in the exchange has not.
Earlier, Lyudmila Denisova said that Kiev continues to negotiate with Moscow about the next exchange of prisoners. According to her, we are talking about prisoners who are on the territory of Russia and, in particular, Crimea.
The exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine was held on 7 September. Plane special flight detachment “Russia” with the Russians on Board has landed in Moscow. Around the same time at the Boryspil airport landed the plane with the Ukrainian prisoners. The exchange took place according to the formula “35 on 35”.
