The majority of Russians estimate relations with the United States and the European Union as tense. This became known from the survey, “Levada center,” reports “Interfax”.
It is noted that this assessment of Russian-American relations was given by 67 percent of respondents, and Russian-European — 55%. Hostile relations between Russia and the United States called 11 percent of Russians, and between Russia and Europe — four percent of the respondents. About the friendly against Russia with the United States and Europe said four and nine percent of Russians, respectively.
Almost half of Russians (42%) have a positive attitude to the United States — this figure grew by 11 per cent since may of this year. The negative attitude to the country, said 44% of respondents, which is eight percent less than four months ago.
In addition, the increased number of those who are well disposed to the EU, from 37 to 50 percent. At the same time by 10 points — to 37 percent — fell the share of Russians who negatively inclined towards the unification of European States.
In October 2018 the Americans have put Russia in last place in the list of countries that they consider to be allied or friendly States. A third of US citizens believe that Russia is more an enemy than a friend of the United States, 31 percent of American citizens called Russia’s policy unfriendly.
