The head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov in interview owned by Grigory Berezkin RBC commented on the information about your property, published in February by the Fund of struggle against corruption (FBK) Alexei Navalny.
“My apartment here in Moscow is estimated at mad money — five billion [rubles]. If someone is willing to pay me five million, I told him right now ready to give the keys and say, “OK, let’s money”. Such money is not worth it”, — he said.
Chemezov has called the investigation speculation. “When it appeared, I did not even bother nor answer, nor write, nor call — why? If you start making excuses, then you’re guilty of something,” said he, adding that “to be under the fire of criticism, often unjustified, when you occupy such a position, is right.”
The head of state Corporation called himself a wealthy man, but said that he keeps a frilly way of life and not dealing with the hoarding. “Yachts and planes I have. There’s a nice big house where we live with family. There is a big apartment… I’m not going to build palaces, and needed no such”, — he said.
The materials of the FCO argued that Chemezov’s wife owns an apartment in the building of hotel “Moscow” near the Kremlin, which consists of two rooms on two floors, with a total area of 1434 square meters. The authors of the investigation to assess the value of real estate five billion rubles.
