Moscow state University (MGU) named after Lomonosov and Jilin University (China) agreed to start joint work on creation of units class “magicians”. On Monday, September 16, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Russian University.
As specified, we are talking about a portable laser-electron x-ray generator (LEXG). It is expected that in future this unit will find application in the advanced branches of medicine, industry and basic science, explained in a press-service.
The corresponding agreement was signed during the XX session of the Russian-Chinese intergovernmental Commission on humanitarian cooperation. Also at this meeting, MSU signed agreement on cooperation with another Chinese University — Peking University. In particular, the universities agreed to establish a Russian-Chinese youth Union Association of the classical universities of Russia and China, which should increase the academic mobility of students, postgraduates and young researchers of both universities.
That Russia plans to involve scientists from China in the implementation of projects of a class “magicians” in the framework of the national project “Science” in July, said the Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova. Before it became known that the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) signed a road map in which identified six areas of cooperation.
National project “Science” was approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin and should be completed by 2024. Only its implementation is planned to more than 625 billion rubles. In particular, it involves the creation in Russia of 15 scientific and educational centers of the world level, commissioning research facilities class “magicians” and the formation of an integrated system of training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel.
