Ukrainian Director Oleg Sentsov appreciated the changes that have occurred in Ukraine over the past five years that he spent in prison in Russia. About this he wrote in his Facebook account.
“The preliminary conclusion is two: 1) Changes in five years not so many as I expected. 2) All are at war with everyone,” wrote Sentsov, noting that “it’s all very sad”.
According to him, last week he had many places to visit and many people to talk to. The Director also added that he does not lose hope for the best.
Yesterday, September 15, Sentsov told about the conditions of detention in a Russian prison. According to him, the prisoners in Russia are not allowed phones and the Internet. The Director said that, after receiving the communication, he held a brief conversation with the family, which was told that he was alive and where he was going.
Oleg Sentsov has returned to Ukraine on 7 September. With him in the framework of the exchange of prisoners between Moscow and Kiev at home arrived and the other Ukrainians, including 24 sailors who were detained in the Kerch Strait in November 2018. The exchange took place according to the formula “35 on 35”.
