Creative residence “Tavrida dance”, which brought together 200 dancers and choreographers of different styles and directions from all over Russia, finished the work in Crimea. On Monday, September 16, said the organizers of the event.
The head of “Turbidy” Sergey Pershin said that this year has been tried a completely new project format: participants are planning their educational program, chose suitable workshops and entertainment.
“We managed to gather enough highly motivated, professional group of people who know what they want and work selflessly reaching their goals. And yet — there is a charged atmosphere of creation and creativity. These results of our experiment with the format, of course, are impressive,” said Pershin.
In the framework of the project the dancers had lessons for the Crimean people and congratulated the residents of Sudak city Day by showing them a specially prepared rooms.
In addition, the organizers of the “Tavrida” held a grant competition among the participants. Total grants amounted to 2 million 750 thousand rubles. The winners were dancers and choreographers from Kursk, Yaroslavl, Rostov regions, Kabardino-Balkaria, St. Petersburg and Moscow.
After the dance of the residence in the Crimea will arrive painters, sculptors and art historians — from 18 to 28 September there will be a “Tavrida art”. And already on September 30, “Tauris lit” will gather writers, poets and literary critics.
The forum of young workers of culture and arts “Tavrida” was first held in Crimea in 2015. In 2019, the project has expanded to the format of the art-cluster and now includes a forum, a festival of creative communities, as well as capital construction of a permanent educational centre “Art-residence “Tavrida””, completion of which is scheduled for 2022. The organizer of the project is the development Center of cultural initiatives.
