Eating the fruit of the Arhat (Siraitia grosvenorii Latin) contributes to the slowing of aging, writes Food News, citing published in The American Journal of Chinese Medicine the Chinese scientists.
Specializing in news about healthy eating website notes that the consumption of fruit within 10 months slowed the aging process in mice. Scientists explained this by the fact that the fruit enhances the function of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in the bone marrow that are the precursors of blood cells and promotes regeneration.
The findings of the experiments conducted on mice, experts believe, fair and for the people. “Based on these results, the research team came to the conclusion that eating the fruit of the Arhat can extend human life by improving the function of stem cells”, — writes the edition.
