St. Petersburg “Zenith” appealed to the Russian football Union (RFS) with the request to make application for the season striker Alexander Kokorin. Reports about it “CHempionata”.
As we learned earlier, 17 September, 28-year-old Kokorin has signed a new contract with a blue-white-blue. According to the regulations of the Russian Premier League summer pre-entry period expired on September 2. However, the RFU may register the transfer of a free agent if the club will send a request. In case of failure “Zenith” will be able to add Kokorin into the application only in the winter.
Earlier, on September 17, Alexander Kokorin and former football player of “Krasnodar” Pavel Mamaev were released. The players were in the colony from the 4th of July.
The previous agreement, “Zenith” Kokorin expired on 30 June. The last time the striker out on the field in the St. Petersburg club, on 7 October 2018.
Kokorin and Mamaev was detained in October last year for participating in two brawls in the center of Moscow. The arrest of the athletes has been repeatedly extended. In may the Moscow city court sentenced Kokorin a half years of imprisonment in a General regime colony, Mamaev got a year and five months in prison. In September the court has released players on PAROLE.
