The nationalist Likud party, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not get the leadership in the parliamentary elections. This is with reference to exit polls and unofficial results of the vote count reported by The Times of Israel.
According to the newspaper, after counting 91.5 percent of the votes of the supporters of the Prime Minister will get from 54 to 56 seats in the Knesset. The members of the center-left Alliance “Kajol Laban” will have about 58 seats. The official announcement of results yet.
Most likely, the newspaper reports, Netanyahu will have to go to the formation of a government with the centre-left. Their leader, Avigdor Lieberman, has already declared to journalists that it is not against a coalition with the right, and also considers “absurd” the idea of the government with the participation of the opposition Arab parties.
