The next three years, inflation in Russia will not exceed the level of four percent, said at a government meeting, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, quoted by TASS.
“We budgeted a clear guidance on the level of public debt and inflation. Expected in the next three years inflation will not exceed target values at four percent,” — said Medvedev.
Previously, the Ministry had forecast inflation at 3.8 percent by the end 2019 (against previous forecasts of 4.3 percent). In 2020, according to the Ministry, inflation will fall to three percent, and 2021-m is four percent.
At the meeting the government presented a draft Federal budget for 2020 and the planned period of 2021-22 years. Until October 1, it needs to be submitted for consideration to the state Duma. According to Medvedev, the budget for all three years of surplus is expected and socially oriented.
