The former UFC heavyweight champion complained of slave labor and poverty

American fighter mixed martial (MMA) Colby Covington criticized the leadership of the ultimate fighting championship (UFC). His words are quoted

“The UFC makes my business using slave labor. They don’t want to pay anyone of the fighters, because they need all of us remained poor. We have to get back in the octagon again and again and carry out duels all the time, six times a year”, — said the fighter.

Covington noted that the promotion brought in millions of dollars, of which I received only 2-3 per cent. “They continue to pocket all the money, and I practically nothing”, — he concluded.

Covington stands in the Welterweight division. He held the title of interim champion of the UFC in this weight category. On account of the American 15 wins in 16 bouts in his entire career. The last time he stepped into the octagon on August 4, and was stronger for the former UFC Champ Robbie Lawler.
