The REN TV channel has denied the news that the former publisher of magazine The New Times and the founder of REN TV, Irena Lesnevskaya morning of 19 September were searched. The announcement is posted on the website of the channel.
“According to REN TV, any investigative action Lesnevskaya not conducted”, — said in a statement.

Irena Lesnevskaya began working in television in 1965, and in 1991 became co-founder of the TV company REN TV. In 2005, she and her son Dmitry Lesniewski’s, who is also the founder of the company, sold his share of the media holding RTL Group, and then left the channel. In 2007, the Lesnevskaya was the publisher of magazine The New Times, and in 2013 transferred the publication of his founder Eugenia Albats.
