The temperature in Russia in the coming heating season, which runs from October to March, near or above normal. This was reported on the official website of the hydrometeorological centre of Russia.
So, in October the average temperature will exceed the normal values in the Arctic circle. In the South of Siberia and the Far East, on the contrary, will be colder than usual. Normal levels are expected in November throughout Russia, except polar regions, where they are above normal.
The temperature in December will be mainly about the long-term average. Exceptions will be the Urals and Siberia, where this month the air will be warmer, and Western Siberia — where the temperature readings will be below normal.
According to forecasts of the hydrometeorological center, January cold is expected in Yakutia, whereas in Russia as a whole the temperature in this month will be at the level of norms. February 2020 will be colder than February 2019 in the Central Federal district and the greater part of the northwestern Federal district. Above normal temperatures are expected in Eastern Siberia and the far East (except southern Kamchatka, where the performance will be near and below normal).
In March in the South of Russia and in the Urals and in Siberia is expected warming, with temperatures this month may exceed the normal. However, in the North Central district, North West district and in the far East, monthly average temperatures, if they exceed the norm, it is not much, according to the Meteorologist.
Previously, forecasters predicted first snowfall in the European part of Russia. So, according to them, rain, sleet and strong wind are expected in the Central part of the country on Sunday, September 22. Monday the cold will continue, said a leading specialist of the center weather “Phobos” Alexander Sinenko.
Prior to that, leading specialist of the “Phobos” Eugene Tiscover reported that from the 23 of September in Moscow is expected to improve weather conditions, average temperature will be 15 degrees Celsius. According to him, this weather is evidence of the third wave of the Indian summer. He noted that, from 23 to 27 September the night temperature will be 3-8 degrees plus, the day will rise up to 15-16 degrees Celsius.
