The military court refused to reinstate one of the leaders of the Federal security service (FSB) of Russia for the Republic of Crimea Lieutenant Colonel Igor Yegorov, who had answered the Peninsula for the fight against terrorism. About it reports “Kommersant”.
Egorov received three severe reprimand with the subsequent dismissal after his subordinate, major Yuri Dryndin was arrested for illegal sale of drugs on a large scale in an organized group. Major was detained in August 2018, in the trunk of his car found about eight kilograms of marijuana.
After the arrest Dryndin has been audited by the secret agents with whom he worked. It turned out that some “agent M” is located in the Federal wanted list for drug trafficking. The major was obliged to prepare reference control meetings with the agent, but falsified the documents.
The FSB considered that all this was possible due to neglect Egorova to their official duties. The Colonel had to constantly monitor the activities of their subordinates, including Grindin, and representatives of the network of agents. The FSB is confident that he has not coped with the task “quality and efficiency”.
