The government and the Moldovan President agreed to abandon the system “of anti-Russian approach”. About this newspaper “Kommersant” said the President of the Republic Igor Dodon.
According to him, the two sides came to an agreement to stop the practice of banning the Russian journalists or investors to come to Moldova. “If there is any violations, we will look at specific cases. But systemic anti-Russian approach, as it is, it will no longer be”, — assured the President.
Dodon said that this practice will also be extended to investors from other countries, including the U.S. and the European Union.
In late June, Moldova has lifted restrictions on travel into Russia for members of Parliament and government. The ban was in force from March 2017, allegedly due to inspection officials at the border.
