The FSB has found in Russia a grouping of more than 100 supporters of the international terrorists that sent militants in Syria over six million rubles. On Wednesday, October 9, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the Agency, to coordinate the accomplices of the terrorists used the messenger Telegram. They finasiroval banned in Russia organization “Caucasus Emirate” and the “Islamic state”. The group acted on the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Ingushetia, Tatarstan, Krasnodar and Stavropol Krai, the Tyumen region, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Sent the terrorists the money was collected as donations for charity. The group consisted of participants planned in 2005 by Shamil Basayev militant attacks on Nalchik.
In the counter-terrorist operation in Kabardino-Balkaria were detained two people. They seized extremist literature, ten mobile devices with the instructions of the terrorists, 60 cards of different banks, six thousand dollars, and accounting records.
For its part, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Svetlana Petrenko said “the Tape.ru” that the detainees — the 25-year-old man and his 30-year-old sister, raised money for funding international terrorists from February 2015. In relation to the counterparties, including from Moscow, criminal cases are brought.
Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of the year in the North Caucasus was abolished 30 terrorist cells and prevented 15 terror attacks. Presumably the terrorists planned to arrange explosions in places of mass stay of people and objects of religious organizations, as well as planned attacks on law enforcement officers.
