Zelensky called the error a “fascist” rhetoric Poroshenko

Russia’s policy towards Ukraine can really change, because Kiev has changed the rhetoric with the arrival of the new authorities. This was stated by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at a press conference, a live broadcast which leads the TV channel “112 Ukraine” on YouTube.

“Earlier there was such information policy what we have here [in Ukraine] and was shown [in the media] — that we’re fascists, that we are fearful that we want to take the opportunity to speak in Russian”, — he said.

Now, according to Zelensky, Russia see a similar story when it can’t go on, because everyone knows what his liberal views. “Russia is a very large percentage of people who knew me not as a politician but as a famous person before I became President”, — he explained.

“I don’t want to offend someone who was in my position before, they had to protect the presidency at the international level. But since we want to end the war — I think the former government of such a strong desire, like us, was not” — said Zelensky. According to him, evidenced by the willingness of Kiev to participate in negotiations in all formats, by telephone, and in Minsk, and possibly at other sites.

The Ukrainian leader expressed the opinion that Russia is “too tired from this process,” therefore, the dialogue between the two countries finally became possible. “I think everyone understands that Ukraine will never give up, everyone can see what our society, as we are ready to defend their territory,” he said.

Earlier at a press conference Zelensky said that breeding troops near the village of Lugansk became the best propaganda in uncontrolled territories, because Kiev was able to show the residents of the breakaway republics of their peaceful intentions. The Ukrainian leader has noticed that people often visit their relatives in Kiev-controlled towns, and they need to see changes for the better.
