The main error of President Vladimir Zelensky is that he speaks of no alternative to the Minsk agreements, said the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the faction “Batkivschyna” Sergei Vlasenko. It is reported by NewsOne.
The same position is taken by Zelensky predecessor on a post of the head of state Petro Poroshenko, said the politician. “Guarantor unfortunately conversione says two things in one sentence: first, that the election at gunpoint will not, and will initially be regaining control over the Ukrainian borders and then about the commitment of the Minsk agreements, which describes the reverse course of events,” — said Vlasenko.
According to the Deputy, to resolve the conflict within the country must be based on other agreements and to carry out absolutely other negotiations.
Zelensky previously announced the existence of a secret “plan B” to resolve the situation in the Donbass, which can be an alternative to the Minsk agreements. He refused to disclose the details of the alternative strategy of Kiev, saying only that he was not satisfied with the current format of the agreements.
The Minsk agreement, signed by representatives of Kiev and the breakaway republics provide for an immediate ceasefire, the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the line of contact, the constitutional reform in Ukraine the consolidation of the special status of Donbass, as well as the elections in the breakaway republics.
