Ukrainian police have searched in one of the private clinics in Boryspil district of Kyiv region, which is suspected of illegal trade in human organs. This was reported on the website of the Main Department of the National police in the Kiev region.
As noted, the operation was conducted together with field investigators of Management on fight against the crimes connected with human trafficking. During the search law enforcers seized from the hospital documentation and technological equipment. Also discovered a freezer with different biological samples.
The edition “Informant”, whose correspondent visited the scene, says that among the findings of investigators were containers with liquid nitrogen, is signed as “heart” and “kidney”, and a large safe that the investigators failed to uncover on the spot. Located during a search of the clinic owner and his lawyer deny any involvement in trafficking in human organs.
Discovered by operatives of the biological samples were sent for examination to ascertain their origin and destination. At the moment, was prosecuted under article 143 of the criminal code — “Violation of the statutory order of transplantation of bodies or fabrics of the person”.
