The Russian side did not respond to eight questions of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) about the reasons of discrepancy of data of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory that were already in the organization. About this Twitter wrote journalist of the German TV channel ARD, Hyo Seppelt.
According to the source, WADA sent a 31 question, while receiving 23 replies. Seppelt noted that on November 17 there will be a meeting of the organization, which will be discussed compliance status of the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA). An extraordinary Executive Committee of the WADA, on which is raised the question of possible sanctions will be held on December 17.
29 Oct WADA confirmed that he had received from the Russian side, additional information concerning the reasons for the discrepancy of data of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory. Then, the Agency has promised to submit a report on this issue until the end of November.
In September it became known about the manipulation of the laboratory data. This was stated by the Chairman of the compliance Committee of WADA, Jonathan Taylor. He also reported that the Russian side will be given the opportunity to explain the differences.
Data transfer the Metropolitan laboratory was one of the conditions for maintaining the status of RUSADA, which was reinstated in September 2018. The information was given to WADA in July 2019.
