The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Alexander Bastrykin met with his Armenian counterpart Hayk Grigoryan in the main building of the Ministry in Moscow. On Friday, November 8, “the Tape.ru” reported in the press service of the TFR.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of cooperation and mutual assistance in criminal matters. The Armenian side, among other things, was very interested demonstrated forensic techniques and procedural bases for the use of hypnosis by Russian investigators.
Bastrykin and Grigoryan signed a Declaration of willingness to adopt joint measures for combating crime and improving the quality and efficiency of investigation of criminal cases.
Earlier it was reported that Bastrykin opened a criminal case against district judges of Krasnodar territory Vladimir Starodubtseva on suspicion in attempt at swindle in especially large size. According to investigators, in the period from December 2018 to February 2019, the suspect together with his son Alexander and Gennady Eremenko demanded from the businessman of 64 million rubles.
