American hockey player Ryan Whitney in the podcast Spittin’ Chiclets spoke about the reaction to his criticism of Russia.
Whitney said that will never come to the country. He noted that he didn’t like the reaction of the Russians on his story about the Continental hockey League (KHL). “I share the experience of playing in Russia and tell you that I was surprised and amused. I hope I don’t shoot Russian spy. I have a young son,” added the American.
Whitney is the Creator Spittin’ Chiclets. Along with guests, he often criticizes Russians and life in the country. So, in November last year, the American called the Russian “Chernobyl monsters with three eyes.”
In response, Russian coach Andrei Nazarov promised to give Whitney on the nose. Against the words of the American also spoke of the Olympic Champions in hockey Vyacheslav Fetisov and Alexander Kozhevnikov.
Whitney played in the KHL in the 2014-15 season. In the “Sochi” the American has played 42 matches in the regular championship KHL.
