Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has charged to understand, why in the process of construction is the rise in the cost of public infrastructure in some regions. He stated this at a meeting on the implementation of measures aimed at development of rural areas, reports TASS.
He called such cases “a common story” that requires additional and sometimes excessive means from the local budgets. The head of the Cabinet did not rule out that in some cases the rise may be justified, however, all situations require a comprehensive study.
“To save the regional funds is proposed to conduct a public procurement in the framework of national projects centrally, we have the opportunity next year will provide for the development of rural areas, and analyse what can be done to procurement procedures at regional and municipal levels was more efficient,” — said Medvedev.
Work on resettlement of citizens from emergency housing undertaken in 2007, included in the national project “Housing and the urban environment”. It is planned, in particular, to increase the resettlement of dilapidated housing to 9.54 million square metres and relocate 530,9 thousands of citizens from unfit housing. The program is calculated till 2024.
