The head of Federation of automobile owners of Russia (HEADLIGHTS) Sergey Kanaev said the words of special envoy of the UN Secretary-General for road safety, Jean Todt about the causes of mortality on the Russian roads. His words are quoted RT.
According to Kanaeva, one of the biggest problems remains the wrong behaviour of pedestrians, as “they don’t know where to cross the road.” However, he believes that education of owners is not a criteria that increases the death rate on the roads.
