In 2019, the fastest growing salaries in the Republic of Tuva, from August to September, the growth of wages in the region amounted to 13 percent. This is reported by “Izvestia”, citing data from Rosstat.
In second place was the Sebastopol, where wages increased on average by 11.6%. Three leaders closes the Kostroma oblast with a growth of 10.9 percent.
The slowest wages grew in St. Petersburg. The publication notes that the level of wages in the Northern capital grew by only 3.6 percent. A little faster raised salaries in North Ossetia (3.7%) and Kaliningrad region (4 percent).
The experts noted that the wage growth impact indicators of production and financial activity of the subjects. Also it depends on the source of wage, price level and development of certain areas of production in the region. For example, the emergence of large IT companies with a higher level of wages than similar positions in other industries, will lead to growth in the average wage.
Earlier it was reported that in 2019, 83% of Russian companies raised the salary of its employees. Increased wages of top-managers (8 percent), middle managers and ordinary employees received an increase in the amount of 6 percent.
