The self-proclaimed authorities of Donetsk national Republic (DND) will not allow implementation of the plan of Kiev on the deportation of the residents of Donbass. This was stated by the head of DNR Denis Pushilin, RIA Novosti reported.
According to him, in the Ukrainian segment of social networks spread information that the Ukrainian authorities are preparing a plan of deportation of the residents of Donbass. He allegedly is in organizing and conducting the “cleansing of dissent” directed, including “destruction of persons who do not share the Pro-Ukrainian views.”
Pushilin noted that against the people of Donbass may be sent to “a number of punitive measures — from deportation to legal persecution.” He added that instead of people who are forced to leave the Donbass, can resettle the inhabitants of the Western and Central parts of Ukraine.
The politician said that the primary protection of the authorities of the DNI is to protect the citizens. “And choose a tool for its solution — diplomatic or military — we’ll be depending on the current situation,” — said Pushilin.
November 17, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the core of the issue for Ukraine is the law on the special status of Donbass. Earlier the assistant to the Russian leader Yury Ushakov said that the meeting in “Norman format”, which will discuss the issues of resolving the conflict in the Donbass can be held in 2019.
Fierce in 2014, the military conflict in the Donbass will try to settle with the Minsk agreements. Them in February 2015 has been agreed by the leaders of “Norman Quartet” — the diplomatic group composed of representatives of Germany, Russia, France and Ukraine.
