The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky commented on the statement of the party leader “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko’s resignation in opposition to the current government. About it reports “RBC-Ukraine”.
Zelensky said that “Fatherland,” “once in five years is in opposition to the incumbent President, mimicking the care for the people,” and called it “ancient Ukrainian tradition.”
He said that Tymoshenko brought a list of their people to appointments, but she refused. “She brought a list of people for appointment to the “sweet” place. And in return promised during the year to vote for all the laws together with the “Servant of the people” in the Verkhovna Rada. Of course, we refused. After all, the era of dogovornyak ended forever,” he said.
Tymoshenko, on 13 November, said that she and her party go into opposition after the adoption of law on opening of the land market in Ukraine. “Today the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky crossed all red lines. Our team announces the transition of the party “Fatherland” in opposition to the policy of destruction of Ukraine, in opposition to the policy of continuing the era of poverty,” she said.
The lifting of the moratorium on land sales, the incumbent since 2001, and the opening of the land market — one of the key points in the requirements of the International monetary Fund for further lending to Kiev. The Ministry of economic development, trade and agriculture of Ukraine published the project of reform, according to which the land market should be opened October 1, 2020.
