The passenger said that she and her husband took a taxi to Arbat street to get to the hotel, Skatertny pereulok, 13. The driver brought them to the entrance and asked to pay 13 thousand rubles, citing the counter. On the assertion that it is expensive, the taxi driver refused to let them out of the car until the payment is made. The ride from Arbat street to a specified address is about 10-12 minutes.
The woman also said that she and her husband were late to the airport, where we were supposed to fly to Voronezh. The interior Ministry explained that her husband took from his pocket a Bank card and handed to the driver. Then the man confirmed payment, his account was debited 14 thousand rubles, and he and his wife got out of the taxi. The police began checking.
Earlier it was reported that in Nizhny Novgorod a group of taxi drivers beat up a passenger who refused to pay the fare. From the received traumas the man died.
