Norwegian army urgently needs new tanks amid the deployment of Russian modernized T-80БВМ on the border with Norway and Finland. About TV 2 Norge said the head of the Department of communication of the army of Norway Per Espen strand.
The concerns of the Norwegian side called 26 Russian tanks entered service of the Northern fleet. According to the Norwegian edition, upgraded T-80БВМ well adapted to Arctic conditions: in particular, their engines to run at minus 40 degrees.

The deployment of Russian T-80БВМ at the Norwegian border, says the publication, can significantly accelerate their purchase.
