Former Russian Finance Minister and head of the accounts chamber Aleksey Kudrin refused to help a street beggar. About this in his Facebook account told by the journalist “the New newspaper” Kirill Martynov.
According to him, the incident occurred on November 18 on the Boulevard ring, when he walked with the political consultant from Washington. Martynov wrote that ahead of him was Kudrin with a security guard who faced the beggar. The latter asked the Chairman of audit chamber of the money, but was refused.
The journalist said that he and his companion also asked for help, and then political consultant turned to Kudrin with a question: “And you, too, there was no money, right?” “The Chairman of the accounts chamber smiled wearily and shook his head,” — concluded the journalist.
Martynov noted the irony of the incident, including the well-known phrase Kudrin: as Minister of Finance he particularly remembered the saying “do not give money, no money”. It is also included in the parody of the official, shown on the First channel in the program “Mult lichnosti”.
