The number of one-day companies in Russia decreased by 10 times in 2016, said in an interview with “Kommersant” the head of Federal tax service (FTS) Mikhail Mishustin.
According to the official, the share of shell companies in the country fell from 32 percent of the total number of enterprises in 2016 to the current 3.1 percent.
“As of November 1, 2019 by such companies to which we may (still tentative) to present questions as to the potential transient, remained at about 116 thousand. It was millions,” — said Mishustin.
FNS, in his words, reveals short-lived companies on a number of grounds, among which are unauthentic constituent information, employee absences, contradictions in statements and unstable financial transactions.
Not give tax statements of the company, the key data which identifies the FTS failure, are excluded from the Unified state register of legal entities (EGRUL). Over the past three years, according to mishustina, this measure was subjected to more than two million companies.
