Russian gas pipeline “Nord stream-2” will be launched in mid-2020, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, quoted by TASS.
“In the middle of next year”, — said Kozak. “In the middle of next year”, — said Kozak. In what month this will happen, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Earlier, energy Minister Alexander Novak said that the launch of “Nord stream-2” likely to occur before the end of this year.
The American Senator Ted Cruz said that US sanctions in respect of partners “Gazprom” under the project might delay the launch indefinitely. To this end, Washington might adopt a special law or use existing.
Initially the date of completion of the construction of the pipeline was called the end of 2019. However, permission from the Danish to the laying of pipes in the economic zone of this country was received only in early November that put the plan at risk.
