Us Senator from the Democratic party, Chris van HOLLEN said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan “has crossed the red line”. About this van HOLLEN wrote on Twitter.

Thus the Senator reacted to the news that the Turkish armed forces began in Ankara testing radar of s-400.

According to van HOLLEN, the President of the United States Donald trump is now obliged to impose sanctions against Ankara. “Two weeks after his visit to the White house, Erdogan shows the nose of the Tramp, as well as the United States and NATO, crossing another red line in relation to the s-400,” wrote the Senator.

Earlier, the US state Department said that Turkey should get rid of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems s-400, otherwise it may face us sanctions.

The American side has repeatedly warned Turkey about the inadmissibility of purchases of Russian weapons. The US and other NATO countries fear that the s-400 can track the American fifth generation fighter F-35 Lightning II, which was to receive the Turkish side. Washington has suspended the supply of about 100 fighters in Ankara.
