Singapore, Oslo and Zurich topped the rating of most “smart” (technologically advanced) cities in the world. This is stated in a joint study of the Observatory Smart City of the world competitiveness Center of IMD and the Singapore University of technology and design.
Also in the top ten Geneva, Copenhagen, Auckland, Taipei, Helsinki, Bilbao and Dusseldorf. In the calculations took into account such indicators as health and security of citizens, mobility (availability of transport), social activity, capacity and management of the city.
Moscow only took 72 place in the ranking of the 102. Of its inhabitants, about 65 percent of respondents believe that the city of unaffordable housing, 63 percent dissatisfied with constant traffic jams. 60 percent say the problem of corruption, 52 per cent a bad environment, and 40 percent of waste disposal. But cultural events the townspeople gave 80 points out of 100 maximum, services for job search — 67 points and public transport — 65 points.
In September 2019 Vienna for the second year in a row topped the rating of the most comfortable cities in the world by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).
