Protesters in Iran have demanded the resignation of Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reports “bi-Bi-si”.
Several hundred demonstrators gathered in front of the building of the Technological University. Amir Kabir in Tehran on Saturday evening, January 11. They chant: “Commander, go away!”, “Resignation is not enough, need the court!”, “Death to the dictator!”
The protests occurred near the technical University. Sharif, who is considered one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country. According to some reports, 10 graduates have died in the crash “Boeing”, the responsibility for which was assumed by the Iranian authorities.
Many protesters believe that Iran would not recognize an error, if not for pressure from foreign governments. They also wonder why the country’s airspace was not closed during the rocket attack Tehran against U.S. military bases in Iraq.
