The head of “Ukrainian airlines” responded to Iran’s statement about the downed Boeing

The head of “International airlines of Ukraine” Eugene Dykhne said that the company never for a moment doubted that the crew and the aircraft could not be the cause of the crash. So he in his Facebook account responded to a statement made to the Iranian authorities that the death of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft was shot down accidentally.

“Thank you all for thinking and analyzing, who is with us is separating. For us it is very important,” wrote Eliashberg.

The Boeing 737-800 “Ukraine International airlines” (UIA) caught fire and crashed few minutes after takeoff from Tehran airport early in the morning on 8 January. Killing all aboard 176 people, most of them were citizens of Iran and Canada.

The Iranian authorities stated that the plane was shot down accidentally. The cause of the crash was called the “human factor”. The Iranian foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif explained that the mistake was made in a period of crisis because of the “adventurism” of the United States.

In response to the statement of the Iranian authorities, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky demanded that Tehran fully admitted his guilt in the crash of the Boeing 737-800. In addition, he said that Ukraine is waiting for Iran’s formal apology, punishment of perpetrators and compensation payments.
