Unknown over the weekend, was twice robbed of the historical-cultural Museum “powder tower” in the Park of Taras Shevchenko in Odessa. This is stated in the message published by the press service of the Museum in Facebook.
“We’ve been robbed. Opened the lock, broke Windows, made of old coins, books and even a few less valuable things. All scattered, and for some reason broke the window,” said the Museum on Saturday.
They also said that the National police of Ukraine performed all the necessary investigations. “We hope that these lovers of antiquity will hold. Need to install new locks only as long as it is not clear where to take the money”, — noted in the Museum.
On Sunday, the head of the “Powder tower,” Arthur Poghosyan said that the Museum was robbed again. “They’re back. Cracked two Windows. Again stolen and destroyed artifacts. They will destroy everything. You have to think about security,” he wrote on his page in Facebook.
