The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Russia gave the Board of Aeroflot on flights to Iran after the disaster the Ukrainian Boeing 737-800, near Tehran. It is reported owned by Grigory Berezkin RBC with reference to sources familiar with the decision authority.
According to them, the foreign Ministry issued a recommendation to “Aeroflot” to fly from Moscow to Tehran and back only in the daytime. It is known that a resolution recommending to follow this clause has been drafted taking into account the position of Federal air transport Agency and the aviation authorities of Iran immediately after the recognition of guilt of the Islamic Republic in the collapse of the liner. RBC says that Aeroflot is the only Russian carrier operated flights to the Iranian capital.
Executive Director of the Agency “AviaPort” Oleg Panteleev explained that calculations of antiaircraft defense (PVO) there is no difference between day and night, as the detection of targets using radars. However, U.S. forces practiced attacks on various objects in night time, creating for the calculations of the increased psychological burden and increases the risk of errors.

Passengers warned that in connection with a change in routes to some destinations the flight time will increase.
Boeing 737-800 “Ukraine International airlines” caught fire and crashed shortly after takeoff from Tehran airport on 8 January. Killed 176 people, including 11 citizens of Ukraine. Responsibility for the plane crash took on the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps (IRGC). Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the air defense system took the plane for a cruise missile.
The wreck of the Ukrainian plane was in the morning after Tehran struck a rocket attack on military targets in Iraq. Iran announced it is a response to the killing of the commander of the special forces “al-Quds” IRGC General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad on 3 January, which killed an American missile strike.
