Respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) said that the new iPhone with support for fifth generation networks will be available in a limited number of countries, and the other will be with 4G. This writes Macrumors.
An insider told that iPhone with support for high-frequency mmWave range will be sold in five markets: USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the UK. Ming-Chi Kuo believes that in other regions, including Russia, Apple will sell the smartphones supporting the low frequency band sub-6 GHz or even shut off 5G in countries where the network of the fifth generation is not currently deployed.
Kuo pointed out that Apple meet the deadlines and intends to introduce smartphones with support for high-frequency mmWave band in the fall. Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo said that the release of these devices will be held until the end of 2020, after the main presentation.
In December, the analyst predicted that in 2020, Apple will release five smartphones. In March will release the successor of the popular iPhone SE in September the company will show its flagship range. All iPhone, except for the March device supports work in networks of the fifth generation.
In Russia at the moment commercial 5G network is not exploited. In December in Moscow discussed the implementation of the networks of the fifth generation in the infrastructure of the metropolis.
