Forecasters warned the Russians about the so-called “temperature swing” — night changes from frost to thaw, 13-15 Jan. This was reported by TASS with reference to regional centers for Hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring (TsGMS).
So, “swing” will be seen on the territory of the Central Federal district. At night the temperature will fall to minus 3-5 degrees, in the afternoon will rise to 2-3 degrees. Wind speed will increase to 14-16 meters per second.
In the Oryol and Kaluga areas the temperature will range from zero to plus two degrees. By the evening of 13 January will start the snow which could last until 15 January, the wind will amplify to 14 metres per second. In Vladimir, Lipetsk and Ryazan regions on 14 January, the wind is 14-16 meters / second, the temperature can drop from plus 2 to minus 3-4 degrees. In the Kursk region is expected to drop in temperature plus 3 degrees during the day to minus 5 at night.
In Bryansk, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Smolensk and Tula regions the day will be about plus 1 degree, on the night of January 15 to minus 2-3 degrees, in the afternoon of 15 January, up to 2-3 degrees. The same “swing” is possible in the Belgorod, Tambov, Tver, Yaroslavl regions, while precipitation is unlikely. In the Tambov region the temperature is around zero degrees at night — to minus 2 degrees. In the morning possible fog and sleet.
