At the beginning of January 2020 in Russia there are 3,13 thousands of distressed residential houses, buildings, the construction of which is suspended or delayed for six months or more. This was reported on the website of the Fund for the protection of rights of investors.
According to the Fund, since the beginning of the fourth quarter of last year, the number of such facilities in the country decreased by 122 units — October 1, 2019 in Russia counted 3,252 thousands of “bad” buildings. In addition to residential buildings with torn construction time, the register includes homes, developers who are in the process of bankruptcy.
In the fourth quarter of 2019, the Fund for the protection of rights of investors took action to restore the rights of more than 16 thousands of co-construction in 21 RF subjects. “For the completion of construction or the payment of compensation 220 distressed homes will be allocated more than 31 billion rubles”, — stated in the message.
At the end of December last year, the General Director of Fund of protection of rights of investors Oleg Govorun predicted the disappearance of the problems with long-term construction in Russia. According to him, it will be solved by 2023 — then the country does not remain defrauded investors.
