In Russia, on 15-16 January 2020 will be the XI Gaidar forum “Russia and the world: new decade Challenges”. This was announced by the organizers of the event.
The main theme of the forum is to find answers to the main challenges which are waiting for Russia and the world in a new decade. In the event the strategy of development of Russia, national development and economic growth, scientific and technological breakthroughs and digitalization, transformation of governance systems and geopolitical trends, education and social mobility for young people, tax myths and the transformation of the banking system, social responsibility of business.
The event will bring together leading scientists, politicians, representatives of financial circles and the global business elite. In total, the forum was more than 14 700 participants, including 600 speakers from over 30 countries. In particular, the event will be attended by first Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova, the head of the accounts chamber Alexey Kudrin and the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina.
In addition, the event will be Nobel peace prize, Professor RAE Kwon Chung. He was awarded in 2007 as part of the intergovernmental panel on climate change. Also in the Gaidar forum will take part the EU Ambassador in Russia Markus Ederer, founder and Chairman of analytical center “Friends of Europe” Giles Merritt and the Board of Trustees of the Center, a former European Director of the Trilateral Commission Paul Rewa. Among the guests of the forum will gather heads of the leading foreign business schools.
The forum will be held in Moscow at the Russian Academy of national economy and state service under the President of Russia (Ranepa). The event is organized by the Ranepa, the Gaidar Institute and the Association of innovative regions of Russia. “Ribbon.ru” is an information partner of the forum.
