In the future a profession in Russia will be in demand, said the Chairman of the Duma Committee on labor, social policy and veterans ‘ Affairs Yaroslav Nilov in an interview with RT.
“Tomorrow there will appear a million unemployed because of the robots, obviously. But many professions are not in demand”, — said the Deputy. According to him, if in the future the employee will not desire to obtain additional education to meet the requirements, this will lead to a lack of interest as to the employee.
Nilov also said that from the appearance of robots, millions of citizens will not be able to lose work in a moment. He assured that there is always a chance to succeed in the labour market, if to educate ourselves.
So the MP commented on the words of the head of Ministry of labor Maxim Topilin that it is not necessary to scare citizens with robotization and the subsequent massive unemployment.
In September it was reported that by 2030, the competence of 45.5 per cent of Russians will be unused. According to the research of experts in industries such as hospitality and catering, manufacturing, agriculture and forestry, retail trade and mining more than half of the work will be done by robots.
