NATO will hold joint exercises with Ukraine on the protection of infrastructure in the black sea region in Odessa. About it reports “RBC-Ukraine” with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian government.
Military exercises “Indestructible sustainability 2020” will be held from 5 to 9 October 2020. They will be attended by more than 200 specialists. The corresponding document was Ukraine and NATO agreed on Wednesday, January 15, in the headquarters of NATO in Brussels. From Ukraine it was signed by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Dmitry Kuleba.
“Participants from Ukraine and NATO will work out algorithms of actions in crisis situations that may occur in the black sea region. The goal is smoothly, timely and efficiently respond to cyber attacks, attacks on ports, capture, transport routes and other threats,” — said in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
They also noted that the results of the teachings of the Higher marine school of the United States will present to the Ukrainian side a detailed analysis and recommendations.
The course of Ukraine to join the EU and NATO enshrined in the Constitution. The relevant law in February 2019 signed by the fifth President Petro Poroshenko. The new head of state Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly spoken in support of this course.
