Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani called nonsense information about the plans of the Islamic Republic to obtain nuclear weapons, reports TASS, citing the Iranian TV.
“The fact that Iran seeks to obtain nuclear weapons — nothing more than repetitive nonsense”, — quotes Agency the words of the Iranian leader. Rouhani also said that the withdrawal of his country from the Joint comprehensive plan of action (SVPD) is invertible, and all the activity in this direction is under the supervision of the International nuclear energy Agency (IAEA).
According to Reuters, Iran’s willingness to negotiate was confirmed by the foreign Minister Muhammad Javad Zarif. He stressed that Iran wants to discuss the issue but did not intend to bargain with the American side, which is January 8 urged other guarantors of the transaction to abandon it.
Earlier in January, Iran announced the final rejection of agreements AGREEMENT regarding its nuclear program. Tehran out of the nuclear deal, saying it will not comply with any restrictions in the production, including enrichment capacity, the percentage and amount of enriched uranium.
SPUD on Iran was signed between Tehran and the six countries-mediators, including Russia, UK, USA, France, Germany and China. The agreement includes the lifting of sanctions against Iran in exchange for curbing its nuclear program. In may 2018 the US President Donald trump announced the country’s withdrawal from the transaction and the renewal of restrictive measures against Iran that include a ban on trade in oil.
