They were caught with tons of cocaine in Guinea-Bissau to the Russian sailors, Sergei Bellies. This was announced by the Deputy of the state Duma Alexey Weller on his page “Vkontakte”.
“After quite a long sickness, died one of our seamen detained Sergey Bellies. The last few months he was very sick,” wrote the Deputy. He added that the efforts of the Embassy Zhivotova was given treatment after which he felt better, but a couple of days ago it became dramatically worse. The sailor died in hospital of the city of Praia.
18 April 2019, the Russian side has signed a contract with a local lawyer who agreed to represent the interests of all 12 Russians. The contract value amounted to 60 thousand euros. The money was collected charity Fund in Murmansk, said the Deputy.

The Russian sailors were arrested in Guinea-Bissau in February of last year for smuggling of 9.5 tons of cocaine. The ship remained in the port of Praia. According to one version, was the forced the team to take the cargo on Board on the part of some armed men.
