The message of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly and the draft amendments to the Constitution are a direct threat and risks of Ukraine. This was stated by former President of the country Petro Poroshenko in his Twitter account.
According to Poroshenko, he sees the necessity of unification of the Ukrainian authorities and the opposition, to adequately respond to the challenges which began the year 2020. The former Ukrainian leader said that the message Putin says that Russia is not going to end the war with Ukraine. “And the second conclusion — Putin is going to stay in power forever,” — wrote Poroshenko.
The former President of Ukraine believes that Russia has no government, Parliament, and all the power is in the hands of one person. “Therefore, the resignation or appointment do not interest me and should not interest” — he added.
Putin delivered a message to the Federal Assembly on 15 January. In it he, in particular, proposed to abolish the precedence of international law over Russian law where it is inconsistent with the Constitution and also to amend the local authorities. In addition, the President intends to enshrine in the Constitution the role of the state Council.
