Soviet leader Joseph Stalin in 1945 gave rise to the oppression of poles, the atrocities and exploitation of the economy. This statement was made by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Republic, the message published on the website of the diplomatic Department on Twitter.
“We respect the honor of the soldiers who sacrificed their blood in the struggle against the Nazis, but Stalin’s regime in the 45th year gave rise to the oppression of poles, the atrocities and exploitation of the economy”, — explained in Department.
The diplomats added that the Red army liberated Warsaw from Nazi occupation, but it has not brought Poland freedom.
