Leading researcher of the Center for preventive medicine Olga Molchanova said that swimming in the hole you can’t have people with exacerbation of chronic diseases, colds and fever, as well as those who have heart disease, or those who are simply afraid.
Head of Department of normal physiology First MSMU named after I. M. Sechenov, Aleksey Unruhen reported that the impact of cold on the body as a whole healthy, however, the load should not be critical to an organism, and man should get the pleasure of bathing. He noted that the diver must do physical exercises to warm up, and then — to RUB oneself with a towel and drink hot tea.
Chief researcher of Scientific-clinical center of otorhinolaryngology of FMBA of Russia Galina Tarasova advised to start to harden in the summer, to not have complications after diving in the hole. She noted that it is not necessary to bathe immediately after a meal — after the meal should take at least an hour.
In January 2019, it was reported, near Krasnoyarsk stole a car with a sleeping child inside, while his parents swam in the ice-hole on Epiphany. Half an hour later the car was found, a suspect in the theft was arrested.
